I graduated from Mapletown High School.  Upon high school graduation, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in English Education from California University of Pennsylvania.  In 2007, I was hired at Carmichaels Area High School in the English department.  I teach Senior English, which encompasses British literature.  I also instruct Advanced Placement Literature through College Board; this course includes American, British and World Literature pieces.  In addition to teaching, I am also the school Newspaper sponsor as well as the SADD sponsor.
